Good ol' New Mexico

Since I began this journey in 2023, my work as a piano tuner has taken me across the vast stretches of New Mexico. What began as a career change has grown into a deep connection with the communities I visit. Every road trip is an opportunity to meet new people, support local churches, and help musicians find their sound again.
The Weight of History vs. A New Beginning
One of the most rewarding parts of this work is the variety of instruments I encounter. There is a specific, heavy feeling when I sit down at a very old piano. These instruments often hold decades of family history. They might have been silent for years, tucked away in a corner, waiting for someone to give them a voice again. Bringing an antique back into harmony feels like honoring the past and the generations of hands that have played those keys.
On the other hand, there is a different kind of excitement when I am called to tune a brand-new piano that was just delivered. These instruments represent a clean slate and a fresh start. There is a sense of anticipation in the air as I help a family or a musician prepare their new investment for a lifetime of music. Whether it's the nostalgia of the old or the polished potential of the new, the goal is always the same: making sure the instrument sounds its best.
Growing Together
As my business continues to grow, I am constantly looking for ways to serve my customers better. It has been an eye-opening experience to see how much a well-tuned piano can change the energy of a room, a church service, or a performance.
I’ve met passionate musicians and dedicated community leaders who remind me why this work matters. I always look forward to the next stop on the map and the chance to help another piano ring true.
